Kyler Lambing took to the mound for the Falcons Varsity Baseball Team at Bridgeport and threw a 5 inning complete game No-Hitter, the first of his career. Lambing was very efficient with his pitch selection and mowed through the Bear Cat hitters throwing only 59 pitches in the 5 innings. The Falcons defense also played a key role by tracking down several hard hit balls by the Bear Cats. Harley Lang and Austin Hendrickson each ran down well hit balls in the gap to keep the no-hitter intact.
The Falcons swept Bridgeport by scores of 13-0 and 11-1. Lambing also led the balanced offensive attack by collecting three hits and 4 RBI on the day. Harley Lang continued his torrid pace by racking up 7 stolen bases, he is only a few stolen bases shy of the single season steals record for LakeVille. Dakota Gann, and Drake Brown also had multiple hits on the day for the Falcons.
Next up for the Falcons is Millington at home on Monday and at Goodrich on Wednesday. LakeVille is now 11-5-1 on the year.
