Wrestlers medal at the Palace

Written by Dan Huggler Congratulations to Matt Mulholland and Zach Young on becoming LakeVille’s latest All-State Wrestlers! Matt placed 8th and Zach placed 6th.  They did very well and represented our school with first class!  THANK YOU for all the support that you have shown these athletes.

4 Wrestlers advance to regionals

In a tough Individual District tournament at Montrose, the Falcon wrestling team had four individuals advance through to the Regional tournament.  Congratulations to all four wrestlers on a great accomplishment. Falcons defeat Millington and break school wins record

The LakeVille wrestling team hosted their final home meet of the season on Wednesday  and it was a great night a be a Falcon.  On Senior Night, all four seniors left their mark on a great season by going undefeated.  The Falcons swept dual victories over TVC East rival, Millington, and GAC Blue opponent, Byron. 

Mulholland Earns 100th Victory

Senior Matt Mulholland earned his 100th victory at Bridgeport High School this past week.  Matt is a dedicated wrestler as well as a linebacker on the football team and outfielder on the baseball team.  He will be a finalist for the Garth Yorton award, LakeVille’s highest athletic award for a male student, if he continues

Falcons Roll to Dual Victories

LakeVille continued its home season Wednesday, December 14th with wins over visiting, Swan Valley and Powers Catholic by identical scores of 60-21.  Seven wrestlers went undefeated; Irene Pyonk, Jewell Colley, Jacob Crampton, Sam Jackson Jason Hook, Ryan Ross and Liam Shannon.
